Is it really important to hide data from Government?

        Hiding data from the Government of the country, of which you are resident, when summoned is a criminal offense. Moreover, only criminals tries to hide data from a government. Moreover, if governments want to get your data then there is no way to hide your data easily from them as they have lots of way to get your data.

        If some rogue entity of a foreign country which is spying on your private data using communication network then such situations can easily be averted using various VPN services of different country. 

        Again, getting data from VPN service is also a very simple task for powerful countries. To make it tougher you can always select VPN services of countries with which there is no MLAT (Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty) signed between those countries. Getting assistance from countries with which no MLAT signed is hard to achieve. 

 

        Always use secure communication network e.g. HTTPS.  Moreover, check your network providers rule of sharing data.

        last but not least, encrypt your vulnerable data. 

        N.B. My data is completely in view of foreign country which is trying to spy on your data. It is not anyhow connected to betray your country.
